Raphë is a queer visual and performance artist working primarily in photography and video art.
Through a process of plastic transformation, Raphë constructs alternative identities to themselves that they subjects and/or juxtaposes to the physical limits of the queer body. Mainly disseminated in subcultural venues, Raphë’s work is mostly conducted in wastelands, abandoned lots and environments they considers hostile.
Raphë’s performance Nous sommes tou.te.s des hypocrites is presented at the opening of the Festival Art Souterrain (Canada) in 2023. In video, Tërra Bëstia wins Best Dance Music Video at the Parai International Musical Awards (India) and is a semi-finalist at the Near Nazareth Film Festival (Israel) in 2022.

Raphë est un.e artiste queer visuel.le et de performance, travaillant principalement en photographie et vidéo.
À travers un processus de transformation plastique, Raphë construit des identités alternatives à iel-même qu’iel soumet et/ou juxtapose aux limites physiques du corps queer. Diffusé principalement dans des lieux sous-culturels, le travail de Raphë est conduit majoritairement dans des friches, des terrains à l’abandon et des milieux qu’iel considère comme étant hostile.
La performance Nous sommes tou.te.s des hypocrites de Raphë est présentée lors de l’ouverture du Festival Art Souterrain (Canada) en 2023. En vidéo, Tërra Bëstia remporte le prix du meilleur vidéo musical de danse aux Parai International Musical Awards (Inde) et se classe semi-finaliste au Near Nazareth Film Festival (Israël) en 2022.
